Toon Fusion Expo returns to Eugene’s Lane Events Center May 9-10

Toon Fusion Expo is returning to Eugene for a second year, bringing a weekend of animation, anime, video games and pop culture to the Lane Events Center on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with VIP entry starting at 9:30 a.m. both days. It will be held at the Lane Events Center, 796 W. 13th Ave. in Eugene. Organizers say parking is free.

Toon Fusion is set to feature celebrity guests from across animation and anime, along with panels, an Artist Alley, live performances and vendors. Organizers say the guest lineup includes casts from “The Fairly Odd Parents,” “Dragonball Z,” “My Hero Academia,” “Demon Slayer,” “Kaiju No. 8,” “Gachiakuta,” “One Piece” and more.

Planned activities include tabletop gaming such as D&D, Pokemon, One Piece, Gundam and Digimon; a Kpop Demon Hunters dance class hosted by Kodex Dance Crew; Kpop random play dances hosted by K.aire and Kodex Dance Crew; cosplay contests and meetups; DJ sets all weekend from DJ Emi Rae; a kids coloring area and Dragonball-themed photo booth; and chair massages and game demos.
