Simone Biles has undergone a medical procedure, weeks after she revealed a health scare in June that she said nearly cost her life.
On Thursday (23 July), the seven-time gymnastics Olympic gold medallist posted a photo of herself wearing scrubs in what appeared to be a medical office, alongside her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens. The procedure took place a day earlier, on Wednesday (22 July).
“His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure,” Biles, 29, wrote on her Instagram Story. She didn’t share what the procedure was for, and the reason behind it remains unclear.
