The Story of Velocity Dance:

“We are Vienna, Virginia’s ONLY all star dance program attending USASF Dance Worlds every year since 2014. Our studio was built to create a positive and structured dance training regimen that creates confident, independent, and powerful dancers in all genres. Four years ago, there was a change in ownership and we are reinventing what it takes to be a competitive athlete! Each year we are looking to push the boundaries on creativity and innovation with our routines.

Kelly (29) grew up dancing in the Northern Virginia and began coaching all star dance in 2019, exceptionally training in ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary. Alex (30) began cheerleading in high school and then transitioned into competitive dance. He has been coaching since he was 18 years old. He is also a part-time practicing physical therapist and serves on two USASF Committees. Both owners choreograph for the studio as well as handle behind the scenes administrative duties.”
