
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Emergency crews responded Friday morning to both sides of the Howard Frankland Bridge.
Multiple northbound lanes were blocked on the hump of the bridge due to what authorities called police investigation with water activity. The Coast Guard also responded.
There were some southbound delays as well. Those lanes were cleared by 7:30 a.m.
The northbound lanes cleared a short time later but some delays remained.
Authorities have not released any further information.
