OKLAHOMA CITY — SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital was named the Best Regional Hospital in Oklahoma City and the second-best regional hospital in Oklahoma in U.S. News & World Report‘s 2026-27 Best Hospitals rankings.
The Oklahoma City hospital also received a Best Regional Hospital for Community Access designation and earned “High Performing” ratings in nine adult procedures and conditions: heart attack, heart failure, heart arrhythmia, stroke, diabetes, spinal fusion, hip replacement, knee replacement and leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. The rankings consider objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience.
The publication reported that 89% of patients at St. Anthony said they would recommend the hospital to others.
“Being recognized as a Best Regional Hospital in Oklahoma City gives patients added confidence when choosing care for themselves and their families,” said Rajesh Kumar, the hospital’s chief of staff.
Stacy Coleman, hospital president, said the recognition reflects the work of the hospital’s caregivers and their commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
U.S. News Managing Editor and Chief of Health Analysis Ben Harder said a “High Performing” rating indicates that a hospital exceeded a national performance threshold, providing patients with information to consider when discussing care options with their doctors.
