Nov 2 | REGISTRATION: Hip-Hop Majorette Dance Team Saturdays in November (Except 11/16 and 11/30)
The SoulDeevas Hip-Hop Majorette Dance Team welcomes young ladies ages 12-21 for its 2024-2025 dance season. Participants must have some form of dance training or dance team experience to make the team. We will provide a video of a dance the girls are working on, and the dancer must be able to demonstrate their ability to catch on quickly.
Participants can live anywhere in the tri-state as long as they can commit to the commute to DOWNTOWN NEWARK for practice on Saturdays (12:45pm to 3:45pm) from November to June.
The cost is $10 per month plus the cost of their uniforms (roughly $300 for two stand battle outfits, shoes, accessories). Participants can fundraise to cover the cost of their expenses and payment plans are available.
Participants can only join one program. These are “frequent traveling teams”. Upcoming events include (New participants will not be able to participate in some of the events depending on which Saturday they register):
- November: Parade Audition
- December: Atlantic City Event, Christmas Classic
- January: Potential Parade
- March: NBA Appearance, STEM Basketball Classic
- April: Ocean County Dance Competition
- May: NYC Parade
- June: Ruey Basketball Classic
