MADISON, (WKOW) – The Madison Comic & Pop Culture Expo returned for its second year, promising fans a star-studded experience.
The event took place at the Alliant Energy Center on August 9 and 10.
Attendees got to meet meeting celebrities like Sting, Mick Foley, Walter Jones, and Anjali Bhimani.
“I love being at the Comic Con, because always a happy place,” said Walter Emanuel Jones, the original black Power Ranger. “Everybody here is happy. It’s peaceful, it’s creative, it’s fun. And you know, I love meeting the fans, because we have the best fans in the world.”
The expo, known as MadEx, celebrates TV, film, cosplay, gaming, anime, comics, art, and toys.
Fans of all ages are encouraged to join in the festivities and meet dozens of internationally known TV and movie actors, anime voice actors, comic creators, and other entertainers. Tickets are currently available for purchase.
