Candidates were nominated by members of the local commercial real estate community, with final honorees selected by Bisnow based on their impact, leadership qualities, and meaningful contributions to the field. In her practice, Ferrera represents real estate developers, lenders, and borrowers in all phases of complex commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and closing acquisitions, sales, development deals, and both acquisition and construction financing. She also advises clients on lease negotiations, loan restructuring and enforcement, and has significant experience drafting condominium and homeowner association documents, successor developer filings, as well as managing all aspects of real estate closings and documentation.

Ferrera is an active member of the legal and business community, with a strong commitment to professional development, education, and civic engagement. She is actively involved with the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section, including its Condominium and Planned Development Committee. Ferrera is a member of numerous professional and community organizations, including the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (Miami-Dade Chapter), the Dade County Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Miami-Dade County CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). She is a Past President of the Cuban American Bar Association and currently serves as a Board Member of the Cuban American Bar Foundation. Deeply committed to advancing legal education

and mentorship, Ferrera is a Board Member of the University of Miami School of Law Alumni Association and an active member of the University of Miami Citizens Board. Ferrera earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from  the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
