A Marshall County man is charged with soliciting an underage girl in an online video game, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says.
The TBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) squad launched an investigation after receiving a tip from the Renville County Sheriff’s Office in Minnesota back in May 2025 that a man was soliciting an underage girl through the online gaming platform “Age of Apes.”
Through the course of their investigation, special agents say they identified the man as 30-year-old Jamal Ewing of Lewisville.
Agents and deputies with the Marshall County’s Sheriff’s Department arrested Ewing on Tuesday, March 10. Details surrounding his detention were not shared.
Ewing is charged with one count of soliciting a minor, and deputies booked him into the Marshall County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
The TBI is looking for additional victims and information about Ewing, who used the tag @blakjiren on social media.
