Colorado health officials warn of measles exposure at locations in several Denver-area cities

DENVER (KKTV) – The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is warning the public after a resident who visited several locations in the Denver area was confirmed to have measles.

The CDPHE said an unvaccinated Broomfield County child who contracted measles had visited locations in Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville and Westminster.

If you have visited the following locations during the specified dates and times, you are asked to watch for symptoms for 21 days after exposure.

Health officials said symptoms of measles can include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes and a rash that starts on the face and spreads.
