Coming together in 1996, Downsyde were pioneers of the early Australian hip hop scene alongside the likes of Hilltop Hoods, Bliss N Eso and The Herd.
Dropping their debut cassette Behind the Bucket in 1997, Downsyde followed up with their debut studio album Epinonimous in 2000.
Throughout their 30-year career, Downsyde have achieved much success, winning an Australian Dance Music Award for Best Debut Artist and an incredible ten West Australian Music Industry Awards (WAMIs), having never lost a category they were nominated for.
The trio have also toured nationally and internationally and supported some of the biggest hip hop acts of all time, including Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, the Roots and A Tribe Called Quest.
Expect to hear songs from across Downsyde’s entire career when they hit Adelaide this Friday.
