Jay-Z is set to play a London gig on his latest tour.
Ahead of his upcoming sold-out run at Yankee Stadium, the U.S. rapper and Roc Nation have expanded his series of concerts to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London — the same venue that wife Beyoncé performed at for 11 nights on her Renaissance and Cowboy Carter tours.
Scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4, the show marks Jay-Z’s only U.K. stop of the year, joining previously announced performances in Paris on Sept. 10 and L.A. on Oct. 23. The performances “continue the celebration of an unparalleled 30-year career that has shaped music and culture around the world,” according to Live Nation. “Together, these select shows honor Jay-Z’s legacy through music from across his iconic catalog that has influenced generations.”
General sale for London tickets will be available on the Live Nation website July 10.
It follows Jay’s recent performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia back in May, followed by confirmation of his L.A. appearance at SoFi Stadium, his first West Coast concert since his 4:44 Tour in 2017.
The two Yankee Stadium shows, taking place on July 10 and July 11, are billed as celebrations of Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, the latter of which turns 25 this year.
Jay-Z is one of the best-selling — and wealthiest — music artists in the U.S., having sold over 125 million records. He is a 25-time Grammy Award winner, and just last month it was confirmed he’ll be getting his own HBO documentary in the fall.
