KitKat and Jimmy Rees launch DIY Chocolate Cabin Kit for the holidays

KitKat has partnered with comedian Jimmy Reese to launch its latest DIY KitKat Cabin Kit for the holidays.

It comes with a selection of some Nestle’s chocolate brands, including six KitKat Milk Chocolate Bars, six KitKat White Chocolate Bars, a KitKat Santa, a pack of Smarties, a bag of Allen’s Raspberries and a bag of Nestle Baker’s Choice White Chocolate Melts.

The chocolate brand said its cabin kit provides the perfect excuse to take a break and let everyone’s creativity shine, whether you’re building with family, colleagues, or friends.

Melanie Chen, head of marketing for Nestle, remarked that Jimmy was a natural candidate to bring different ways Aussies can create the cabins to life. 

“The KitKat Cabin is tapping into the ritual of making gingerbread houses during this time of year and making them more delicious with KitKat. We think this can become the new family favourite holiday activity every year,” she added.

As a father of two, Rees said that while families are filled with various characters, a shared love of chocolate and quality time can bring everyone together during the holidays.  

“The lead-up to Christmas is my favourite time of the year – but between end-of-year parties and shopping, it’s certainly tough getting the family unit together,” said the comedian. 

The KitKat Cabin Kit is available for an RRP of $25 at Coles, IGA, Kmart, and Big W.
