People with disabilities take part in a night march for accessible environment

On August 20, Civil Movement “Mobility” is organizing a
night torchlight march of people with disabilities in Sofia under the
slogan “Darkness for indifference, light for our rights!”.
The participants will gather in front of the Sofia Municipality at 9
p.m. and will end their march in front of the National Assembly.
Among the problems
highlighted by the organizers are the partially accessible
architectural environment and insufficiently accessible public
transport, the lack of adapted taxis, and limited opportunities for
independent living.
