Does it really matter if Playstation stops making discs? Hell no, especially since they are making gaming better, the system and the gameplay improvements are what matters the most, and Sony is focused on that as they continue to make gaming better. First person games used to be stale and dry until the PS5 came out and brought back immersive and indepth game play along with great game making. Does it matter if it is on disc or simply right in your library ready to play? No and the discs are not the focus unless that is your hustle of choice or your side hustle of making extra money. Real gamers want to game, and they want to game fast, the discs are just an extra step which we can safely do without. You have access to your entire library unless the power goes out, You can use the internet to download your titles right onto your drive so you can carry them with you everywhere. To add, it may even keep playstations from over heating without using the disc
