RealTime Reservation is acquiring STAY, a guest experience platform used by hotels and resorts.
The deal is being announced during HITEC 2026, a major hospitality technology conference taking place in San Antonio from June 15 to 18. The companies did not disclose the price.
The acquisition brings together two parts of hotel technology that often work separately. RealTime Reservation helps hotels sell paid services beyond the room, such as cabanas, spa treatments, dining, activities, parking, and other amenities. STAY helps hotels manage digital menus, mobile ordering, guest requests, feedback, and in-stay communication.
Hotels need a better way to sell services beyond rooms
Hotels earn more money when guests spend on services during their stay. This is especially important for resorts, full-service hotels, and all-inclusive properties, where guests may book restaurants, wellness services, pool seating, or activities.
But these services are often managed through different systems. That creates extra work for hotel teams and a less smooth experience for guests. It also makes revenue harder to track because spending is spread across separate tools.
By combining RealTime Reservation and STAY, the company wants to give hotels a clearer way to manage guest spending before and during the stay.
The combined company will serve more than 2,500 properties
RealTime Reservation brings about 1,000 hotel properties, mainly in the Americas. STAY adds about 1,500 properties, with stronger coverage in Europe and the all-inclusive resort market. Together, the combined company will serve more than 2,500 properties in over 75 countries.
The company said more than $250M in ancillary revenue already moves through hotel properties using the two platforms. Its customer base includes brands such as Hyatt, Radisson, RIU, IHG Hotels & Resorts brands, and Barceló.
RealTime Reservation’s acquisition of STAY follows the same direction seen in news on Shiji and FreedomPay. That partnership connects Shiji’s Infrasys POS, Astral Payments, and FreedomPay’s commerce platform so hotel staff can manage ordering and payment through one workflow instead of switching between separate systems or devices.
RealTime Reservation and STAY are addressing a similar problem from another side of hotel operations: ancillary sales, guest requests, mobile ordering, and service data also need to work together.
