Claremont Heritage’s Treasury of Claremont Music 2025 summer concert, featuring live music, food and drink, a silent auction, and a recognition ceremony for artists Frank Reckard, Jeff Masters, Jeffrey Paul Ross, and Wyman Reese, takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Garner House, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont. Tickets are $40 at claremontheritage.bigcartel.com.

The 2025 inductees are:

  • Frank Reckard, a 1970 Claremont High School graduate, was an influential lead guitarist with touring experience alongside Hoyt Axton from 1972 to 1976, and with Emmylou Harris’ vaunted Hot Band from 1978 to 1989, replacing Albert Lee.

  • Pomona native Jeff Masters, a virtuoso blues harmonica stylist that has played numerous local groups over the last five decades. His resume includes performances with The Midnight Creepers, The Stan West Band, Tobacco Road, The Black Tongued Bells, Stolen 58s, and The Mercy Brothers, and most recently, The Bells.

  • Wyman Reese, a musician, songwriter, producer, and music instructor, who has been a staple in the Claremont music scene since the 1980s. He was a founding member of Phantom Herd, Chris Gaffney and the Cold Hard Facts, and most recently Mick Rhodes and the Hard Eight.

  • Spellbinding guitarist Jeffrey Paul Ross, who grew up in nearby Ontario, played many shows in Claremont, and cites the late John Harrelson and Frank Reckard as local influences. Ross has played alongside the Bellamy Brothers, Juke Logan, James Harman, William Clarke, Albert Lee, Donovan, Jackson Browne, Jeff Bridges, and Candye Kane.

Masters, Reese, and Ross will perform at the July 26 event.
