Paving/Roadway Projects
There are no paving projects expected to significantly impact traffic this week

There are no scheduled sidewalk projects expected to impact traffic this week.
Water Main Projects
Lowell St (Argilla Road to Lincoln Street) Watermain Construction
Estimated Construction Dates: June 8 through Fall 2026
Traffic may be reduced to alternating one-way travel in the work zone. Police details and flaggers will be present. Expect delays.
State Projects
Burnham Road Bridge (MBTA)
Estimated Construction Dates: March 30, 2026 – October 2026
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is conducting a bridge preservation project requiring closure of Burnham Road in both directions at the railroad bridge. Click here to view a detour map. Click here for more information.
I-495 Bridge Replacement Projects (MassDOT)
Estimated Construction Dates: Ongoing
Bridge replacement work along Interstate 495 may result in lane restrictions, shifting traffic patterns, and periodic delays.
The I-495 bridge replacement project remains in Stage 2, with northbound traffic shifted into a temporary alignment while new bridges are constructed. Motorists should expect an active work zone and occasional overnight lane or ramp closures, but no major daytime detours are currently in place.
