What is 5 Calls?
5 Calls makes it easy for you to reach your elected representatives and make your voice heard. 5Calls.org researches issues, writes scripts that clearly articulate a progressive position, figures out the most influential decision-makers, and collects phone numbers for their offices.
Calling is by far the most effective way to ensure that your representative hears you before they take a public stance. Congressional staffers tally phone calls right away. Statistics say that one call represents 100-1,000 constituents. A powerful tool!

What is Bluesky?
Bluesky is an open, decentralized social media app for microblogging. It has become popular as an alternative to Twitter/X and is fast becoming a home for progressive thinkers.
Disinformation is the biggest current cause of our country’s slide towards fascism. We need to be much louder in spreading the truth. The effective use of Bluesky will greatly help combat the MAGA disinformation machine and will balance out the noise with
facts. Leverage massive numbers of progressives to help amplify important content. Stay connected and in community with each other.

What is Please Grow A Spine? (PGAS)
You’re calling and emailing your Senators and Representative every day. You’re going to protests every chance you get. Is there anything else you can do?
Post and amplify messages (on the social media platforms you’re already using) that tag your electeds about the things you just called them about. Urge them to vote yes or no on that bill or nomination. Thank them for standing strong when they do the right thing, or ask them to fight for you when they wimp out.
Finding your senators’ and House Rep’s handles on different social media platforms and creating posts is hard, so PGAS does it for you (on Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky).
