16 Lady Vols Recognized as CRCA Scholar-Athletes

WILMINGTON, Del. — The CRCA announced its 2026 Scholar-Athletes, with 16 members of the Tennessee rowing program earning recognition.

Of Tennessee’s 16 honorees, four competed in the first varsity eight at the NCAA Championships, while six raced in the second varsity eight and two competed in the varsity four.

The recognition marks the sixth consecutive season Tennessee has had nine or more student-athletes named to the organization’s Scholar-Athlete list. The 16 honorees also tie the program record set in 2023. Tennessee has produced double-digit CRCA Scholar-Athlete selections in five of the past six years.

To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically and compete in an NCAA-eligible boat or participate in at least 75% of the season’s races.

As a team, Tennessee rowing posted a 3.51 GPA during the spring semester.
