Trump shows support for Mike Lindell in Minnesota governor race – KOMO

WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday once again endorsed My Pillow CEO Mike Mindell for governor of Minnesota.

Lindell is seeking the GOP nomination for governor in order to succeed current Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz who dropped his reelection bid earlier this year.
This came after the Minnesota fraud scandal that was first exposed by independent YouTuber Nick Shirley who went to different daycare centers that appeared vacant, alleging that millions of taxpayer dollars were funding them.

Whoever wins the GOP nomination for governor will likely face Democratic Sen. Amy Klobachar in the general election, according to The Hill newspaper.
Last week, Lindell stepped down as the CEO of his company in order to pursue running for governor.
Primary elections are also taking place in Wisconsin and South Carolina.
