COLUMBUS, Ohio –The Ohio State men’s and women’s cross country teams raced in the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Missouri Friday in Columbia, Mo. The Buckeye men ran in the Black and Open races, with the women in the Gold and Black races. Kevin Agnew recorded his third straight Top 10 finish to lead the men and Aniya Mosley was first for the women.

Quoting head coach Sara Mason Vergote
“I was impressed with our men’s team across the board. Kevin did a great job leading our group and I thought we ran a very disciplined race.

“It was great to have Aniya back in the lineup and she will only continue to improve each week. For a lot of our women this was the first time in their careers they have been in a race of this quality and depth.

“We look forward to the next block of training and the opportunity to test ourselves against a quality field at Texas A&M.”
