The theme for the New England Patriots through the first two days of the 2026 NFL Draft was addressing roster needs.

Teams don’t always draft for need. Sometimes it’s preferable to just take the best player available. But with their first three picks, the Patriots bolstered three areas of their roster — offensive tackle (Caleb Lomu), edge rusher (Gabe Jacas) and tight end (Eli Raridon) — that were in dire need of more depth and talent.

What might we see from the Patriots on Saturday when the draft wraps up with rounds four through seven? The Patriots currently own five more picks, and their first one isn’t until No. 171 overall in the fifth round.
