STANFORD, Calif. – The Cardinal was honored with 13 Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans for the 2024-25 campaign, as announced on Monday.

The WCGA Scholastic All-America team acknowledges student-athletes who carried a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average or earned a 3.5 grade point average for the 2024-25 school year. Overall, 69 programs and 1,218 student-athletes earned a 3.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale, the most ever by total number of student-athletes recorded (since 2008 when statistics were first monitored).

Stanford was also well represented at the conference level earlier in the academic year with 12 student-athletes qualifying for the 2025 ACC All-Academic Team. Any student-athlete with a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career who competed in 50 percent of their team’s contests was eligible for the honor.

As a team, the program finished the 2024-25 school year with a 3.5683 team GPA.

The Cardinal’s 2025 season continued its storied history with an incredible first chapter in a new conference and its fourth consecutive top-20 national finish. The team upheld its values of trust, commitment, grace, and joy, as each member of the 2025 squad fulfilled their unique individual roles on the program’s path to its first conference championship title since 2008. The year was highlighted at the Cardinal’s first-ever appearance at the 2025 ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C., as the team won the event with the best team score of the conference championship meet’s history and its sixth-best team total in school history. Not only did Stanford bring home a team title, but the Cardinal earned shares or sole possession of all five event titles handed out at the annual event. Stanford’s five individual titles marked just the second time in program history that the Cardinal has swept all apparatus and all-around event crowns (last done in 1984). The team’s performance was one of only two conference championship individual event title sweeps of the 2025 season.
