OPINION — To Republicans and independents in the Northwest Valley who are concerned about recent ICE and Border Patrol operations in Minnesota and other states: this is an invitation to stand with your neighbors and show up with Northwest Valley Indivisible.

Like you, we believe in secure borders and the rule of law while also expecting federal agencies to operate within clear legal limits.

If you are hesitant due to concerns about safety or disorder, here are the facts. Last year, Northwest Valley Indivisible organized more than 40 peaceful events, with over 8,400 local residents participating. These events were calm, orderly, and non-threatening. Most were coordinated in advance with local law enforcement to ensure public safety.
