Governor Newsom just signed an executive order directing California to build a statewide roadmap to prevent sex trafficking, identify exploitation earlier, and better support survivors. I’ve worked on this issue with leaders in this space for awhile now, and I’m proud we brought partners across agencies, law enforcement and survivor centered organizations to strengthen coordination of existing resources and prevent sex trafficking altogether. When women and children are safe and well, our communities thrive.
