Visaya started his UH career last fall with a bang. He played well in the Fall events, posting a 9-4 singles record which included wins over Washington’s 108th-ranked Cesar Bouchelaghem (7-6 (6), 6-4) and Pepperdine’s No. 6 seed in the ITA Regional, Maxi Homberg (7-6 (4), 6-3). Visaya advanced to the Round of 16 at the iTA Southwest Regionals and with doubles partner Quinn Snyder fell in the semifinals of the ITA Conference Masters Championships to finish a win short of advancing to the NCAA tournament. Visaya earned Big West Player of the Week honors three times last season, while earning all-Big West second team accolades in singles and a first team nod with doubles Snyder.
