PHILADELPHIA – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its Academic All-District teams for the 2025-26 academic year in the women’s at-large category, and the University of Pennsylvania is honored to have five men honored: Women’s fencer Grace Hu, women’s field hockey player Julia Ryan, women’s lacrosse player Orly Sedransk, women’s gymnast Jordan Barrow, and women’s rower Silvia Harrop-Lopez.
Nominated by CSC members, the Academic All-District at-large teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performance both in their athletic venue and in the classroom (minimum 3.50 GPA). From the Academic All-District teams, select student-athletes have been denoted for advancement to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be voted on by the CSC membership from June 16-23 and be announced on July 7 (women) and July 8 (men).
The Penn women’s student-athletes on the Academic All-America ballot are Barrow, Ryan, and Sedransk.
