What Florida 4-star WR target Somourian Wingo committing to Miami means for the Gators

Florida four-star wide receiver target Somourian Wingo committed to Miami Thursday afternoon over the Gators and South Carolina.

Wingo, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound wide receiver from St. Augustine High School in St. Augustine, Florida committed to Miami following a late push from the Hurricanes in the final days of his recruitment.

With the Gators missing on Wingo, Florida’s 2026 class is now left with two wide receivers in four-stars Marquez Daniel and Justin Williams, although Williams is technically listed as an athlete.

So what does this mean for Florida going forward, and what could be next for the wide receiver room?
