No. 15 Buckeyes Host No. 11 Wolverines Sunday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 15 Ohio State field hockey team (6-5, 2-1 Big Ten) hosts No. 11 Michigan (8-3, 3-1 Big Ten) on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1:00 p.m.

Buckeye Notes

• The Buckeyes, who were unranked going into last weekend, picked up two big conference wins. Ohio State upset then-No. 11 Maryland, 2-1, in overtime on Friday. Makenna Webster scored the game-winner. The Buckeyes earned their four shut out of the season, blanking Penn State, 2-0, on Sunday.
• Webster was named the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week. It was her second weekly conference award of the season. Webster leads the Buckeyes, and is second in the Big Ten, in goals with 16. She also has a team-high four assists and 36 points. She is tied for the most points in the Big Ten.
• Raleigh Kerst and Loryn Jordon are second on the team in scoring with three goals each.
• Lindsey Roberts is second on the team in assists with three.
• Maddie Stevens (6-5) has recorded four shutouts and has 36 saves. She has a 1.21 goals against average. She is tied for second-most shutouts in the Big Ten and is fifth in saves.
• The Buckeyes have outscored their opponents, 31-14, and have outshot opponents, 195-93. Ohio State leads the conference in shots and in shots on goal (122).
