North Yorkshire museum hosts ‘magical’ folklore storytelling night
A North Yorkshire museum is to host a ‘magical’ evening celebrating regional folklore.
Myths and Legends at The Green Howards Museum, in Richmond Market Place, will take place on October 30, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
The event is in celebration of National Museums at Night, with guests invited to explore the museum’s collections with after-hours access.
Visitors can ‘uncover the myths, legends, and tales that weave through the history of Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales’ through a storytelling session.
It will be hosted by Rhoda Fraser, a professional storyteller based in Richmond. She is known for her guided ghost walks, which she runs for Richmond Town Council.
