Delta Air Lines will operate four additional round-trip flights between the U.S. and Europe to support customers traveling to Madrid and Munich for two major international professional football games taking place in November.
Delta Air Lines is expanding its trans-Atlantic schedule this fall with the addition of special flights to support customers traveling to Madrid and Munich for two major international professional football games taking place in November. The airline will operate four additional round-trip flights between the U.S. and Europe, offering customers more options and flexibility during a peak travel period driven by strong demand.
“There’s nothing like the energy of fans traveling across the Atlantic to rally behind their team, and we’re excited to help make those journeys unforgettable,” said Jeff Arinder, Vice President – International Network Planning. “With these added flights to Madrid and Munich, customers can enjoy a premium, elevated travel experience from takeoff to touchdown, arriving ready to celebrate, connect and be part of an incredible atmosphere abroad.”
- From Atlanta, Delta will add two additional nonstop flights to Madrid (MAD), operating Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, with return service on Nov. 9.
- From Detroit, Delta will introduce two additional nonstop flights to Munich (MUC), both departing Nov. 11 and returning Nov. 16.
All four flights will be operated on Delta’s Airbus A330 aircraft, providing customers with a range of onboard experiences including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
