Veteran All-Pro WR DeAndre Hopkins, who left the NFL to join Georgia Tech’s staff as an assistant WR coach, has expressed interest in a potential reunion with the Houston Texans following the season-ending injury to Jayden Higgins.

Hopkins, 34, posted a picture of himself in a Texans jersey on his Instagram story this afternoon, reiterating his desire to return to Houston for one final season.

Hopkins was at his best when he was with the Texans, being named a first-team All-Pro for three consecutive seasons (2017-2019) and a second-team All-Pro in 2015.

With Higgins’ injury, the Texans’ top of the WR depth chart looks like this:
▫️Nico Collins
▫️Xavier Hutchinson
▫️Tank Dell
▫️Jaylin Noel
▫️Justin Watson

Should the Texans bring back D-Hop for one last dance? 🤟
