The Denver Broncos‘ first free agent signing of the offseason is a familiar face.
The Broncos have signed wide receiver Michael Bandy (5-10, 190 pounds), according to a report from KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. Denver previously signed a dozen players to reserve/future contracts following the end of their 2025 campaign.
The reserve/future contract signees officially join the team’s 90-man offseason roster when the NFL’s new league year begins in March. Because he was signed post-Super Bowl after his practice squad contract expired, Bandy was a street free agent. So he did not sign a reserve/future deal, but has instead immediately joined the roster.
The 28-year-old receiver has been with the team since 2023. He appeared in four games last season, totaling four receptions for 50 yards and his first career touchdown.
NFL teams can begin negotiating with pending free agents from other clubs on March 9. The NFL’s new league year — and open free agency — will begin on March 11.
