This Sunday is President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, and he will be celebrating it with a wrestling event — UFC Freedom 250 — on the White House South Lawn.
Around the country, hundreds of protests are planned against the President and some of his policies on Sunday.
One protest, called “Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment,” will take place Sunday, with one locally scheduled in Hermitage, at 800 N. Hermitage Rd., Hermitage, from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. The event will include special musical guests and speakers, along with a rally and march.
The other planned event is a No Kings event called the Un-Birthday Rally, which will take place locally in Warren. According to the group, the protest is “to affirm that in America no leader is above the law and no officeholder is entitled to a crown.” The purpose of the rally, according to the website, is “the defense of democracy, constitutional government, and equal justice under the law.”
The Un-Birthday Rally will take place Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm at Trumbull County Courthouse, 161 High St NW, Warren.
