Can anyone explain what this means?
I’m looking at Docket 145 (May 2023) in the case Government of the United States Virgin Islands v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (1:22-cv-10904-JSR).
In Exhibit C (JPMorgan’s official list of “Epstein-Related Individuals”), these names appear in sequence:
- Air Ghislaine Inc.
- Alana Takahashi
- Alexia R Suriani
- …
- Ana Maria Gomes Macedo (Brazilian)
This list was part of a subpoena sent to former USVI Senator Celestino White Sr., requesting all documents and communications he had about the listed people.
Questions:
- What does it mean for someone to be on JPMorgan’s “Epstein-Related Individuals” list?
- Does anyone have solid context on the connection of these three women to Epstein?
- I know Ana Maria had a real estate deal with Epstein in São Paulo. Alexia appears in some emails. Alana seems linked to Alexia.
Extra curiosity: When I Google the names (especially Alana Takahashi or Alexia R Suriani), a lot of images in the results show random Hebrew text/letters. Anyone know why that happens? Is it just OCR errors from documents, or is there something else going on?
