One of Russia's top oligarchs, Roman Abramovich has some ties to Epstein and the Chabad movement. With Epstein, connections with Deutsch bank appeared on plaintiffs with other Russian oligarchs.
Rakoff's approval resolves a class action filed in 2020 over the bank's anti-money-laundering and "know your customer" systems. In the suit, the plaintiffs cited Deutsche Bank's business relationship with Epstein, Russians including the billionaire Roman Abramovich and what they called "other unsavory high-net-worth individuals and their affiliated companies." They used Epstein's name more than 100 times and called him "a particularly egregious example."
He has also donated to Chabad, and for those who want to know what that is, it's basically state sanctioned Russian Judaism run by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn and they keep an eye on the Russian Israeli oligarchs for Putin. They have ties with Kushner as well.
Another person who has connections with Chabad is Lev Leviev who has founded and is the chairman of the UAE's business Selectel and funds/hosts terrorist groups like Hamas apparently. He also co founded VK, Russian Facebook.

Also, Roman's ex wife, Dasha Zhukova is currently married to Rupert Murdoch if things weren't weird enough.
