Jeffrey Epstein’s Possible Suicide Note Hidden from Public View

The note is related to Epstein's alleged suicide attempt on July 23 2019, when he was sharing a cell with Nicholas Tartagoline.

Tartagoline says he found the note tucked inside a graphic novel in the cell they shared after Epstein alleged suicide attempt.

“I opened the book to read and there it was,” Mr. Tartaglione said: a piece of yellow paper ripped from a legal pad.

The NY times reports the note was authenticated in late 2019 or early 2020.

However, the note was sealed by a judge so it was not mentioned or considered in the OIG report into Epstein's custody suicide at MCC, New York. As a result, a potentially vital window into Epstein's mind remained hidden.

The NY Times are trying to get the note unsealed:

"On Thursday, The New York Times petitioned the judge to unseal the note, which said it was “time to say goodbye,” the cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, recalled. While Mr. Tartaglione mentioned the note on a podcast last year, the scrawled message has remained hidden from public view, even at a time of unprecedented transparency around the government’s investigations into Mr. Epstein. Since December, the Justice Department has released millions of pages of documents related to the sexual predator."

Tartagoline spoke about Epstein's suicide and the July 23 note on a podcast with Jessica Reed Kraus last year:
