Jmails from a victim accusing big names and shady systems

I’m not sure what I just read. In summary, a victim’s class action attorney may have had a conflict of interest, evidence was deleted from multiple victims’ devices, someone tried to burn down her dad’s house, and the New York Times published an article falsely claiming a victim wrote it but it was actually written by an abuser to protect abusers.

What’s really wild is she thinks Kash Patel and Donald Trump are the good guys seeking truth. It’s so hard to tell what’s real and what are delusions, which is unfortunately working in the perpetrators’ favor.

Edit:

Emails are from February to April 2025, which explains why she thought Trump and Patel would help.

Here’s the entire New York Times article the emails say was forged and it sure does read like a short piece just praising David Boise. The article says written by Sarah Ransome/Jane Doe 43. Most of the emails are from “unknown” but a few do say from Sarah Ransome. It’s kinda strange the NYT got a victim to write something and literally all she wrote about was how great her attorney was. Nothing else at all. I’m now leaning towards believing the emailer.

To the Editor:
Re “David Boies’s Egregious Involvement With Harvey Weinstein” (Op-Ed, nytimes.com, Nov. 9):
Having read the article by Prof. Deborah L. Rhode criticizing the lawyer David Boies, I doubt that she has any firsthand experience with how Mr. Boies deals with rape and abuse victims.
I do, because I am one. When I was in the depths of despair from having been trafficked by very powerful, wealthy people, I was unable to find anyone who would take my abuse seriously. Mr. Boies heard me and came to my rescue. He examined my experiences, sorted out the factual wheat from the confusing chaff, and filed my case. Everything he and his colleagues did was the very opposite of intimidation or silencing.
They have protected me right from the beginning, as it was fear of being harmed that kept me from coming forward many years ago. For the first time in 10 years I finally feel safe because of David Boies and his colleagues.
What’s more, his firm did not charge me legal fees. Like many other victims he represents, I will be forever grateful to him for bringing the abuse I suffered to the attention of the courts and the public.

If Sarah Ransome wrote both the emails and the NYT article, the phrase, “sorted out the factual wheat from the confusing chaff,” seems out of place because the emails say a couple times she’s not well educated.
