HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida man was arrested on cocaine trafficking charges after authorities said he traveled across county lines to sell drugs to an undercover detective.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that deputies arrested Joel Santos Torres, 35, after he sold about 1 kilogram of cocaine to undercover detectives.

Authorities said Santos Torres travelled from Osceola County to Hillsborough County to meet at a predetermined location and complete the drug transaction.

He now faces charges of trafficking cocaine, drug possession with intent to sell, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and resisting an officer without violence.
